The Slackers - The Nurse

This one goes out to anyone needing that shoulder, I got your back.

For some reason I always am the one that people talk to after they end a relationship. For some reason they polarize toward me in such situations. I really don’t dissuade it for the most part anyway, I enjoy helping the people I love feel a little better from the emotional maelstrom that is their current circumstances. I just want them to be happy and it really hurts me to see them that way, you know?

Today’s just one of those days where you make a joke to someone which they take offense to and stop talking to you. I get those from time to time.

But I don’t believe in a big guy with a beard on a throne, telling us that we’re bad; I certainly don’t believe in original sin. I believe in the opposite of that: you have an Eden immediately from the time you are born, but as you are conditioned by your caretakers and your surroundings, you may lose that original thing. Your task is to get back to it, to claim responsibility for your own perfection
Jeff Buckley, what a man. (via there-has-to-be-more)

Jeff Buckley - So Real (Acoustic)

I’d imagine any ladies in the audience juiced their undies when they saw this.

Jeff Buckley - Grace

If anyone were to play Jeff Buckley in a movie I think James Franco would be a good choice.

15 years ago to the day Jeff Buckley drowned in the Wolf River. For only getting one album out he has influenced countless other bands, artists, and celebrities today such as PJ Harvey, Brad Pitt, Bernard Butler, Patti Smith, Liz Fraser, and Thom Yorke whose vocals on Fake Plastic Trees were inspired by a live performance he saw of Jeff’s. If you’re not familiar with Jeff Buckley’s music past his cover of Hallelujah, then I implore you to check out his album Grace due to it being a complete work of beauty from beginning to end. Also check out videos of him performing because good lord was he apeshit bananas at guitar.
